more In the year 2000, I was about to embark on an extraordinary journey as a TV producer for a cryptozoological television series for Animal Planet. It’s incredibly hard to know what resource to use as a starting point when the subject is Bigfoot. Luckily, Lloyd Pye’s Everything You Know is Wrong landed on my desk and proved to be a godsend. Still to this day, I haven’t found another book that so clearly lays out the whole story of our fossil record and how hominoids come into the picture on a world scale. Also contained in EYKIW is a wonderful overview and Lloyd’s own eyewitness account of the highly controversial ‘Minnesota Iceman’. It was through reading this section, another story was put on the slate for the television series. With reading EYKIW I also became aware of another fascinating story, that of Zana a female Alma, caught and tamed in an isolated part of Russia. I can only hope one day this event can be shown in a quality documentary. EYKIW is not just a book about Bigfoot. Here we also find, in my mind the best explanation of Zecharia Sitchin’s work. Lloyd has a wonderful ability to communicate an incredible amount of highly intellectual material in an upbeat, easy to understand way, consistently basting his argument with commonly ignored science fact.
I’m
thrilled EYKIW is being re-printed so new students of the ‘invisible
college’ can keep questioning who and what we modern day humans
really are, rather than just accept what they’re told to believe.
