"Lloyd Pye should be identified as a national hero for the work has has done in exploring the mysteries of The Starchild Skull. In refusing to abandon this mystery, he has given us all a chance to open our minds in a whole new way. his work is unique in this world, and uniquely important, and I, personally, am deeply grateful to him for his determined effort."

-- Whitley Strieber, author of Communion and The Grays

Seekers of alternative knowledge and UFO buffs most likely have heard of the Starchild Skull and accept it for what it may be: evidence of a hybrid being conceived by a human mother from an extraterrestrial father. However, this book isn’t just for the believer. In his eye opening book “The Starchild Skull” author Lloyd Pye, in his masterful style, doesn’t preach to the choir, but lays out an intense chronology of his involvement with what might be the most history changing relic of humankind ever found and what it might mean to the rest of us.  He opens the book with an admittedly speculative accounting of how the relic came to be placed where it was found, but his style emotionally involves the reader as much as any of the classic tragedies could. From there Pye goes on to explain in detail all of the successes and failures of the testing and acceptance of the relic skull as he travels from lab to scientist to funding source, becoming so involved with this enigma that it literally changed his life. All the while he remains committed to the truth of what the skull truly is, and will accept the test results regardless of his personal beliefs. However, both technological limitations and human error make this a rough road to travel nearly causing him to give up in the face of some of the results. You can feel the tension as pieces of the skull are removed for testing and how Pye tries to protect the integrity of the relic, eventually giving way to allowing more and more to be taken as new tests become available. If you like a good mystery, then “The Starchild Skull” will meet all of your expectations. less
